About Attleboro Dermatology

Owned and operated by Dr. Andrew Samel, Attleboro Dermatology serves the Attleboros and surrounding towns with compassionate, friendly, and high quality dermatology services. Dr. Samel has assembled a team of physician assistants, nurses, and office staff, all of whom share a passion for excellence and commitment to providing the highest quality care to each of our patients.

We provide a full range of dermatological services, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic procedures. We also offer an extensive product line of dermatological and cosmetic skin care products, which are available in our office or online at Dermatology Solutions.

Dr. Andrew Samel - Board Certified Dermatologist

Dr. Andrew Samel received his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania and was trained in Dermatology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he was Chief Resident in his final year. He is board certified in Dermatology and became a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology in 1990.

At Harvard, Dr. Samel started a pigmented lesion clinic and was a founder member of the Cutaneous Oncology program. His scholarly activities include scientific papers on rare forms of cutaneous lymphoma. He is an editor for UpToDate, an online Medical Textbook with a chapter on Drug Rashes. He is currently the CME editor for the Archives of Dermatology, a position he has held since 1998.

Currently, Dr. Samel is on staff at Sturdy Memorial Hospital and a member of the New England Dermatology Society and Massachusetts Medical Society. He is also actively involved in fundraising for the Dermatology Foundation which helps young scientists get their research careers started.
